percent of business leaders today rate learning as important or very important
to their bottom lines. So it's no surprise corporate training has grown to over
140 billion dollars. But studies also show that only 12 percent of learners
actually apply new skills and knowledge from their training to their jobs. With
me today is Bob Walker simulation specialist at the Justice Institute of
British Columbia. To talk about how experiential e-learning is tackling that
disparity. Welcome Bob.
Bob Walker: Thank
you. It's a pleasure to be here.

me what exactly is experiential learning?
Bob Walker: Well
in its simplest form experiential learning is learning by doing both theory and
practice of showing it to be the most effective way to develop critical
assessment and decision making capabilities within an organization.
Speaker: Do you
mean like flight simulators for pilots sounds expensive.
Bob Walker: Well
yeah you're right. High Fidelity simulations are costly which is why we develop
Praxis and experiential cloud based solution that affordably and effectively
addresses training needs for all types of businesses.
Speaker: So tell me more about Praxis and how it
works.
Bob Walker: Praxis
is an easy to use interactive simulation environment that provides realistic
experiential learning using scenario and problem based exercises. It requires
